Distinction on Truth. (Saccavibhanga sutta) Thus I heard. At one time, the Blessed One was staying at Baranasi (Paradise), Isipatana (place of the deities), at Migadaya (Lotus). There, the World-Honored One called the monks: "Monks." -- "White World Honored One". Those bhikkhus obeyed the Blessed One. The World-Honored One said this: -- The wheel of the supreme Dharma has been transported by the Blessed One, the Arahant, the Fully Enlightened One, in the Deer Park, the place of the deities, in Benares. No recluse, brahmin, deva, demon king, brahma, or anyone else in the world can stop or reverse the movement, that is, the teaching, the preaching, the construction, the establishment, expand, distinguish, manifest the four Noble Truths. how is four? The revelation, the declaration, the poem, the establishment, the expansion, the distinction, and the manifestation of the Noble Truth of Suffering; the teaching, the preaching... about the Noble Truth of Suffering; proclamation, proclamation... about the Noble Truth of Suffering; the revelation, the declaration... about the Noble Truth of Suffering. The unsurpassed wheel of Dharma, bhikkhus, has been transported by the Blessed One, the Arahant, the Fully Enlightened One, in the Deer Park, the place of the Devas, in the Paranita. Not a recluse, brahmin... or anyone in the world can stop or reverse the movement, that is, the introduction, the declaration, the construction, the establishment, the expansion, the distinction, reveal the four Noble Truths. The Male-stilts, stay close to Sariputta and Moggallana, Hey Male-stilts, stay close to Sariputta and Moggallana; they are wise bhikkhus (pandita), who are the followers of the holy life. Like a mother-born, bhikkhus, such is Sariputta! Like a nursing model, such is Moggalana! Monks, Sariputta leads to stream-entry, and Moggallana leads to the ultimate meaning. Monk, Sariputta is able to give lectures, to preach, construct, establish, expand, distinguish widely manifest the four Noble Truths. Thus said the Blessed One; Having said this, Thien Thea got up from his seat and entered the monastery. There, the venerable Sariputta, not long after the Blessed One had gone, called to the bhikkhus: "Hey, sages." -- "Yes, Sage". Those bhikkhus obeyed Venerable Sariputta. The venerable Sariputta said as follows: -- Venerable Sirs, the Unsurpassed Wheel of Dharma has been transported by the Blessed One, the Arahant, the Fully Enlightened One, in the Deer Park, the place of the Devas, and in the Parasi... the introduction, the preaching, the construction, the establishment, the expansion, the distinction, the manifestation of the Noble Truth of Suffering and the cessation of suffering. And what, friends, is the Noble Truth of Suffering? Birth is suffering, old age is suffering, (sickness is suffering), death is suffering, sorrow, lamentation, suffering, grief, and pain are suffering; not asking is suffering. In short, the five aggregates of clinging are suffering. Hey Hien, what is birth? Each class of beings, within each class, their production, their birth, their birth, their rebirth, the appearance of the aggregates, the acquisition of the faculties. This, dear friends, is called birth. Hey, Hien, what is old age? Each class of living beings, in each precept, age, decay, loss of teeth, gray hair, wrinkled skin, shortened life span, and destruction of the faculties. This, monks, is called old age. Hey, Hien, what is death? Each class of beings in each precept, the passing away, the death of the body, the dissolution of the body, the passing away, the death, the death, the time has come, the aggregates have been eradicated, the disposing of the corpse. Hey, Hien, for those who have this accident or another accident; to those who experience this or that suffering, the despair, the grief, the hopeless truth, his despair. Hey, Hien, this is called the brain. Hey, Hien, what is the request for non-suffering? Hey, Hien, sentient beings are dominated by birth, start wishing: "Hope I won't be dominated by birth! I hope I don't have to go to the waterfall to be born". That wish was not fulfilled. This is called the unwholesome request. Dear friends, sentient beings are dominated by old age... sentient beings are affected by disease... sentient beings are affected by death... sentient beings are affected by sorrow, lamentation, suffering, grief, and anxiety. : "May I not be dominated by sorrow, lamentation, suffering, grief, and despair!" May I not be subject to sorrow, lamentation, suffering, and grief!" Such a wish is not fulfilled. This is called a request for non-suffering. Such as the aggregate of form grasping, the aggregate of feeling grasping, the aggregate of perception clinging to the aggregate, the aggregate of forming clinging to the aggregate of consciousness, the aggregate of consciousness clinging to it. the five aggregates of clinging are suffering. What, dear friends, is the Noble Truth of Suffering? Craving leads to rebirth, accompanied by joy and greed, seeking joy here and there; like lust, love, and non-being. This, friends, is called the Noble Truth of Suffering. And what, dear friends, is the Noble Truth of Suffering? The cessation of that craving, the renunciation, the equanimity, the liberation, the immaculate (that craving). This, friends, is called the Noble Truth of Suffering. What, dear friends, is the Noble Truth of the cessation of suffering? That is the Noble Eightfold Path, that is, right view, right thought, right speech, right action, right livelihood, right effort, right mindfulness, and right concentration. Hey, Hien, what is right view? O friends, the knowledge of suffering, the knowledge of the origin of suffering, the knowledge of the cessation of suffering, the knowledge of the cessation of suffering. This, dear friends, is called right view. Hey Hien, What is right thinking? Thinking about detachment, thinking about non-hatred, thinking about harm. This, dear friends, is called right thought. This, monks, is called right action. Hey, Hien, what is right livelihood? Here, friends, the noble disciple renounces wrong livelihood and lives by right livelihood. This, monks, is called right livelihood. And what, dear friends, is right effort? Hey, Hien, here Male-stilts, for the evil, unwholesome France has not arisen, the desire not to arise; This person makes effort, diligence, determination, perseverance. As for the evil and unwholesome dharmas that have arisen, arouse the desire to destroy; This person makes effort, diligence, determination, perseverance. For the dharmas that have not yet arisen, arise the will to cause them to arise; This person makes effort, diligence, determination, perseverance. For the kusala dharmas that have arisen, arise the will to make abiding, not to perish, to make growth, development, and perfection; This person makes effort, diligence, determination, perseverance. This, monks, is called right effort. Hey friends, what is mindfulness? Here, monks, the Male-stilts live contemplating the body on the body, ardent, aware, mindful, in order to overcome covetousness and grief in the world... .. contemplation on the dharmas, enthusiasm, awareness, mindfulness, to overcome greed and grief in life. This, friends, is called mindfulness. Hey, Hien, what is right concentration? Here, friends, a bhikkhu is separated from sensual pleasures, away from evil, from unwholesome dharmas, witness and stay in the first meditation, a state of bliss born of seclusion, with application, with four. That bhikkhu ceased to seek, ceased to be four, attained and abided in the second jhāna, a state of bliss born of concentration, without thought, without thought, with one mind inwardly. The bhikkhu-stilts rejoicing and remaining in equanimity, being mindful, fully aware, and feeling the pleasure of life, which the Noble Ones call equanimity of mindfulness, happiness, and abiding in the third Zen. That bhikkhu releases pleasure, relieves suffering, destroys joy and grief, which he has felt before, attains and abides in the fourth jhāna, free from pain, without pleasure, with pure mindfulness. This, monks, is called right concentration. This, friends, is called the Noble Truth of the cessation of suffering. The sages, the unsurpassed Dharma wheel has been transported by the Blessed One, the Arahant, the Fully Enlightened One, in the Deer Park, the place of the deities, in the Benares, Not a recluse or brahmin. -mons, gods, Maras, Brahmas, or anyone else in the world can reverse the movement, i.e., teaching, preaching, construct, establish, expand, distinguish, and manifest the four Noble Truths.
